RICK ROMINE is President of Romine, Romine & Burgess, Inc., and Chief Mechanical Engineer in charge of HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection services, specializing in HVAC applications, automatic control systems and energy conservation.  He is a 1979 BSME graduate of the University of Texas at Austin. Registered as a Professional Engineer in the State of Texas, Rick is a member of the Texas Society of Professional Engineers, National Society of Professional Engineers, American Consulting Engineers Council.  He is also Past President of the Fort Worth Chapter and 1990 Regional Conference Chairman of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers. Rick is Past-Chairman of the Fort Worth Mechanical Board, is listed in "Who's Who Among Rising Young Americans".  He is a past member of the Board of Directors for Casa Maņana Playhouse and Texas Boys Choir among others, and belongs to the Executive Council at Overton Park Methodist Church.



THOMAS B. ROMINE JR. is Chairman of Romine, Romine & Burgess, Inc.  He received his BSME Degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 1948.  Tom is Chief Engineer in charge of Design and System Analysis, and is personally involved in each project.  He is a Distinguished Fellow Member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers, Past President of the Fort Worth Chapter, and active at the national level.  In addition to his involvement in ASHRAE's Energy Standards Project Committees, Tom was Principal Author of the "Cooling Load Calculation" Chapter of the 1989, 1993 and 1997 ASHRAE Handbook of Fundamentals.  He is also a member of the Texas Society of Professional Engineers; Past International President and Fellow Member of Automated Procedures for Engineering Consultants, Inc.; and a Fellow Member and Past State President of the American Consulting Engineers Council.  He has been Chairman of the Fort Worth Plumbing and Mechanical Boards, the NCTCOG Code Board, and belongs to several other organizations ranging from Rotary to the Fort Worth Symphony Board.  Tom maintains Professional Engineering Registration in four states, and is internationally recognized for his work in creating practical engineering computer programs.

 

JACK BURGESS is Vice President & Chief Electrical Engineer in charge of all phases of electrical work for Romine, Romine & Burgess, Inc. He received his Electrical Engineering Degree from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1963, and is a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas. He is a member of the Texas Society of Professional Engineers; the National Society of Professional Engineers; the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers; the American Consulting Engineers Council; is a member and Chapter Committee Chairman of the Society of American Military Engineers; and is Past President of the Illuminating Engineering Society, West Texas Section.  Jack has been invited as guest lecturer and instructor for IES Seminars on “Basic Lighting Design” and “Energy Conservation in Lighting”.
